Warranty Policy

1-Year Limited Warranty
B&G RESCO stands behind the quality of our products with a comprehensive 1-year warranty on all manufactured parts and repair services.
1. Warranty Coverage
1.1 New Manufactured Parts
B&G Rotating Equipment Service Company, Inc. ("B&G RESCO") warrants all new manufactured parts to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment or installation, whichever occurs first.
1.2 Repair Services
Repair services performed by B&G RESCO are warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and any replacement parts installed during the repair.
1.3 New Surplus OEM Parts
New surplus OEM parts are sold "as-is" with a 90-day warranty against defects. These parts are genuine OEM components that have never been installed or used.
1.4 Used Equipment
Used equipment is sold "as-is, where-is" unless otherwise specified in writing. Extended warranty options may be available for refurbished equipment - contact us for details.
2. What Is Covered
Under this warranty, B&G RESCO will, at our sole discretion:
- Repair the defective part at no charge
- Replace the defective part with a new or equivalent part
- Refund the original purchase price of the defective part
Replacement parts are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days, whichever is longer.
3. What Is NOT Covered
This warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from:
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper installation or operation
- Failure to follow manufacturer's operating specifications
- Modification or alteration not authorized by B&G RESCO
- Neglect, misuse, or abuse
- Operation beyond rated capacity or specifications
- Corrosive or contaminated process conditions
- Damage during shipping (separate carrier claims apply)
- Acts of God, accidents, or events beyond our control
- Repairs or modifications made by unauthorized parties
- Consumable items (gaskets, O-rings, etc. after initial installation)
4. Warranty Claim Procedure
To make a warranty claim:
- Contact Us: Notify B&G RESCO within the warranty period by phone at (630) 620-7372 or email at joebreseman@bandgresco.com
- Provide Documentation: Include your original invoice number, part number, date of purchase, equipment model, and a detailed description of the defect
- Obtain RMA: We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number if return is required
- Return Part: Ship the defective part prepaid to our facility with the RMA number clearly marked
- Inspection: Our engineers will inspect the returned part to verify the warranty claim
- Resolution: Upon verification, we will repair, replace, or refund as appropriate
5. Limitation of Liability
THE WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. B&G RESCO MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
B&G RESCO's liability under this warranty shall be limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the defective product. IN NO EVENT SHALL B&G RESCO BE LIABLE FOR:
- Incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages
- Loss of production, revenue, or profits
- Cost of substitute equipment or services
- Labor costs for removal and reinstallation
- Any damages exceeding the original purchase price
6. Field Service Warranty
For on-site field service and installation:
- Labor performed by B&G RESCO technicians is warranted for 90 days
- Parts installed during field service carry the standard 1-year warranty
- Warranty service calls will be scheduled as promptly as possible
- Customer is responsible for travel and lodging costs unless otherwise agreed
7. Extended Warranty Options
Extended warranty coverage may be available for select products and services. Contact our sales team for information about extended warranty programs tailored to your needs.
8. Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Resale or transfer of products voids the warranty unless prior written approval is obtained from B&G RESCO.
9. International Customers
International warranty claims are subject to the same terms and conditions. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs, duties, and taxes associated with returning products for warranty service. We can arrange for local inspection in some regions - contact us for details.
10. Warranty Registration
No registration is required to activate your warranty. Your invoice serves as proof of purchase and warranty start date. We recommend keeping all documentation for your records.
